multi tenant Fortigate

Hi, I would like to perform the following configuration:

Unfortunately, I have problems with the VDOM links. I can setup 3 links with the A,B,C IP Adresses on client vdom but i can`t set the ROOT IP Adress in all 3 links. I would like to save IP Adresses in this setup.

Thanks

Heiko

As you will find out, each vdom-link is a unique interface so you can't do exactly what you posted, but vdom 1 2 3 can have a unique address ( i.e  /30 ) for the inter-links to vdom root. If you tried to apply that /24 masks you would have a overlap.

Check out a blog, I wrote explain  vdom stacked concepts

Don't forget you can save even more IPs with a /31 which is supported in fortigates.
