modem problem

Is it a supported modem type? what does " get system modem" responds with?

it says " not supported" but i also get the vendor and product id which i tried to configure also but i' m still getting the error

which firmware are you using and what type of modem?

Don' t know this model. If get modem status reports unknown unsupported. Then the best thing you can do is either open a support ticket or (faster) use a 3g model that is on the supported list. You can check that the 4.0.0 release notes. Good luck
