migrate Stormshield to fortigate

Hello Forti experts,

I’m currently migrating from Stormshield to FortiGate.

Is there any tool or script that could help me migrate the firewall rules (around 1000 rules) from Stormshield to FortiGate?

Note: I’m able to export all the rules from #Stormshield into a CSV file

Hi @cowigo ,

Fortinet’s FortiConverter tool (and the “FortiConverter Service” run by TAC) is the only official migration utility, but Stormshield firewalls are not on its supported-vendor list, so there is no turnkey script. I think the service team can handle “custom CSV” projects, but it’s a billable professional-service engagement, not a free tool.

The practical path is:

1. Export Stormshield rules to CSV.
2. Map columns to FortiGate syntax in Excel / Python.
3. Push the rule set to FortiGate with its REST API or Ansible module.
