ldap query failed

Hello everyone unable to pull users from active directory Common name : cn Distinguished name : DC=mydomain,DC=local Binary Type: Regular UserDN : CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=local when i test i get error ldap query failed. I created another user name Fortiadmin under Users container in Active directory and i gave the user enterprise admin rights When i try UserDN : CN=fortiadmin,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=local Still same error please do guide me the correct syntax.

Try from the CLI first:
 FGT # diag test authserver ldap <server_name> <username> <password>

Thanks alot I have tried from the CLI and i am getting error Error: not able to recognize ldap server

common name sAMAccountName Distinguish name DC=domain,DC=com Type regular dn = CN=administrator,OU=users,DC=domain,DC=com
