Hello,

i have a customer that asked me if he can use l2tp for vpn connection. Because he has to connect, windows, android and ios devices, bet he don´t realy want to use different metods  and different configurations for that. Like for Ios you need a ipsec dialup and so on.

So i was looking into Admin Handbook and see that l2tp on a Fortinet only supports MPPE which is actualy get used by PPP and doesnt support IPsec for encryption.

So is there a workaround ? its realy strange that fortinet doesnt support l2tp over Ipsec.

i can´t recommend using it then :=)

someone had same problems?
