Anyone else seeing the iOT service detecting Windows devices as iOT and then reporting like 87 vulnerabilities?

Hi FionaC,
Where do you face this behavior, can you provide more details on the report?

This shows up in two places:
1) Security Rating / Security Posture / Failed / FortiGuard IoT Vulnerability
2) Asset Identity Center
In Asset identity Center, most times the device shows the Windows icon, but occasionally it shows the device with an IoT icon on it. Still shows 100 vulnerabilities that are Buffer Errors, Numeric Errors, etc.

Did this ever clear up for you? I'm having this same exact behavior in FortiOS 7.4.3. Showing 100 vulnerabilities detected on a Windows 11 PC. This PC is fully up to date and no vulnerabilities shown in FortiClient 7.4.4
