Sure, It' s quite simple: Make a VIP, that' s were you have your portforwarding or IP forwarding. Enter port/ip external to port/ip internal/dmz. Add a rule allowing SMTP from external to internal (vip) address... That' s it. Cheers, Eric

Shall i use port forwarding or static NAT. ? For example : If my External interface has an ip 213.42.1.1 what should i use, Port forwarding or static NAT.? Or if my External interface has a LAN ip 192.168.1.5 what should i use port forwarding or Static NAT.? In both the scenario i need to redirect the smtp traffic to my internal mailserver regards shoeb

Hi... Shoeb, You can use port-forwarding with firewall interface ip (213.42.1.1 ,Map to Internal Ip, Service Port 25, Map to Port 25) and if you have free public ip you can use static NAT(Public Ip Map to Internal Ip).In both cases you have to only enable SMTP under SERVICE Option. Vishal
