In 1801f (version 7.4.7 )Email is configure, how we test it
To collect the debug outputs for email alerts:
diagnose debug reset
diagnose debug enable
diagnose debug console timestamp enable
diagnose debug application alertmail -1
Send a test activation email:
diagnose log alertmail test
Disable the debugging afterward:
diagnose debug disable
diagnose debug reset
Not working, I try but its not forward the test email.
the debug logs should show you from the perspective of the FGT what's happening.
if the logs show that everything is ok, i would move with the checks on the SMTP server side if anything arrives/goes.
As per customer support, Above 7 version the mail will come from Fortinet domain, other domain will not work.
