help - can't connect vpn ssl from ipad or iphone 6

need help please.

we already successful configure vpn ssl. try to connect from PC and android device, and work flawless.

but we can't connect using ipad or iphone 6.

need help please.

Could you describe what client on the iDevices you are using, and how far you get in the connection process before it fails?

Are they trying to bring up an SSLVPN tunnel, or can they use the client to connect to the web portal successfully?

What does the error look like when they can't get any further?

I thought (dredging through my foggy memory) that the reason it won't work on iDevices was due to the fact that they can only run one application at a time. That the SSL VPN used or required a second layer, and they were incapable. I may be wrong, but I do recall that from years back.

As stated earlier, I may be off base here...

the client can't connect via web portal, it said ipad doesn't supported by web portal.

then the ipad installed forticlient to connect vpn ssl. it's only said "login error - unable to login"

forticlient version: 5.2.0.028

fortigate version: 5.0

we can successfully connect vpn ssl from PC and android device. the version of forticlient is also 5.2

need help.

No Chance with SSL and Apple :=)

just use a native IPsec Client and configure a dialup IPsec on you Fortigate.
