Hello,
I tried the new 5.4 CLI "get system interface transceiver" and it seems not working in the 300D:
[style="background-color: #ffff00;"]# get system interface transceiver[/style] [style="background-color: #ffff00;"]P14814-3(300D-GEN1/2/3), this feature is not supported..[/style]
The same command works fine in 200D...
Does anybody know why this command is not working in the 300D, although this model is in the list of supported platforms for this feature? It it scheduled to be supported in an upcoming release?
Thanks
Andreas
300D look like do not support it. I run this command on FG-1200D. It return result.
get sys interface transceiver Interface port1: SFP or QSFP transceiver is not detected. Interface port2: SFP or QSFP transceiver is not detected. Interface port3: SFP or QSFP transceiver is not detected....
In my 200D this CLI works fine:
FG200D# get system interface transceiver Interface dmz1: SFP/SFP+ Vendor Name: AVAGO Part No. : AFBR-5710PZ Serial No. : AM151827CPZ Interface dmz2: SFP or QSFP transceiver is not detected.
Optical Optical Optical SFP/SFP+ Temperature Voltage Tx Bias Tx Power Rx Power Interface (Celsius) (Volts) (mA) (dBm) (dBm) ------------ ----------- --------- --------- --------- -------- dmz1 N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A ++ : high alarm, + : high warning, - : low warning, -- : low alarm, ? : suspect.
The problem seems to be in the 300D...
I confirmed through a ticket in Fortinet, that this command is NOT supported by the 300D. The relevant statement in the FortiOS handbook, as far as the 300D is concerned, is wrong.
