fortiweb - troubleshoot links to files not opening externally - stuck loading

we are noticing that some files do not fully load/open when accessing them from the webpage externally. they tend to load 80% of the way and then just get stuck , is there any settings in fortiweb to check , stuck troubleshooting this and not quite sure where to look other than logs. thanks

Does it mean it works fine internally? Perhaps you can check browser developer tools to see any errors or probably if there is failure fetching FWB GUI API?

The eventual error that comes up in the browser is 

"Error

Failed to load PDF document."

no issue internally.

You said some files but which kind of files? Do they have anything similar? like size greater than a specific size or special file type, ...? And what are the characteristics of the files that you can download?

I mean is it a matter of size or something else? Try few tests and find this info so you understand better the issue.
