Hi, I'm running same version, why do you want to updgrade ?
Just have a look a other posts, you will see that there are a lot of issues on newer release.
2 FGT 100D + FTK200
3 FGT 60E FAZ VM some FAP 210B/221C/223C/321C/421E
another approach
Also 5.2.6 is out, so really why would you upgrade to 5.2.4 or 5.2.5 if you plan on upgrading? Do you have problems now in the version you currently have? Have you read the release notes for the version you intending to upgrading to?
Nobody here could honestly tell you what to upgrade to and when.

i do have some minor issues with the fortiview not being able to show logs on the current version
and high memory utilization hitting above 70% some times.
other than that, the FG300D is pretty stable for me.

You've got your answer
I'm running same version, everything working almost fine (SSL inspection, VPN SSL, Captive Portal & APs,...)
I just wait for a stable release of 5.4

3 FGT 60E FAZ VM some FAP 210B/221C/223C/321C/421E
is there any major difference between 5.2.XX and 5.4 ??
I use 5.2.4 with FG300D without problems (without SSL inspection). It seems pretty stable
I've read about a lot of problems with 5.2.5 and 5.2.6
5.4 is another story, another GUI, another philosophy
kinmun wrote:Yes, you can have a look at "whats new" doc, you can also download a virtual image for Xen/VMware/... if you want to test (14 days in trial periode)is there any major difference between 5.2.XX and 5.4 ??
