fortimanager question

so we setup the fortimanager, added several fortigates. the policies from the individual fortigates show up in Policy and Objects.

can I take policies from one of my existing fortigates (that are showing in fortimanager) and assign those to a fortigate without those policies?

I mean, can I create a template from one, and just assign those certain policies? just trying to figure this out on the fly.

Yes you can.

Either copy the policy package and assign the new one to another FortiGate, or assign the same policy package to multiple FortiGates.

Policy Packages > [PKG NAME] > Installation Target
