Hi all, I am hoping you can help us We have a fortigate 100d and we want to hide the fortigate IP in traceroute I mean we have managed to do that in a simple traceroute But when traceroute -t is used you can stil see the fortigate's ip Example If the forti's ip is 1.1.1.1 and we have a vps with the ip 2.2.2.2 under that fortigate When tracert / traceroute you do not see the fortigates ip only the end ip 2.2.2.2 but when we use the command traceroute -T -p 22 -w 1 -n 2.2.2.2 then you can clearly see the fortigates ip above the end ip 15 1.1.1.1 63.633 ms 63.814 ms * 16 * 2.2.2.2 64.642 ms * is there a way to tel the fortigate not to display this? fyi this is used for hosting so we can not block all ports and we did try to set TTL to 1 we are too scared to set it to 0 we dont know what will happaned as its in production
Thank you for your help in advanced
