fortigate

Hi!! what fortigate install in the network ? (FG50, FG60, FG100, FG200...). in this network i had a fortigate 50 and the fortigate crash. is sufficient a FG 50 or i have put a better fortigate ?. The network has two vlans. vlan 1 has a active directory server (with dhcp and dns) one file server (catia,autocad) and one replication (catia, autocad) server between VPN connection. the other vlan has exchange server and file server. This LAN has three VPN-IPSEC connections with other enterprises. This too has 10 workstations but in the future these workstations can multiplicate. regards

You didn' t specify your other needs about content filtering (AV/AS/WF) or if you' ll need enable IPS. Email traffic either. 50A is clearly not recommended for situation you' ve described; go for 100A or better if " in the future these workstations can multiplicate" ; try to get the model accordingly to the upper limit of your budget (not the bottom one). UTM units tends to tempt people to go enabling more and more features, far of the original needs. regards,
