i have a fortigate sitting between my gateway and local network. no ipv4 policy or routing policy. i just have the default static route pointing to the gateway. but i can't seem to see any logs on my fg?
local network fortigate isp router
192.168.1.0/24 -----> 192.168.1.250------> 192.168.1.2--------> internet
what do i need to do to capture activity?
could you give more details on your environment?
i assume your fg is set to transparent since local network and the isp router is in the same subnet.
but i believe you need a firewall policy to pass the traffic through fg...
so, if the clinets can access the internet then, they can reach the router without going through fg,
like through hubs or something
