fortigate 60D WAN problem

hi there, i try to configure both WAN1 and WAN2 to let WAN1 and WAN2 work. For address mode, WAN1 is static IP , WAN2 is DHCP connection in Network->Interface configuration. but when i select "Retrieve default gateway from server", WAN2 can work but WAN1 can't work. when i de-select "Retrieve default gateway from server", WAN2 can't work but WAN1 can work.

why WAN2 gateway impacts WAN1?what's the problem is this? and how to solve it. thanks.

what is distance value wan1 and wan2 interface.

for WAN1 and WAN2 work at the same time, the distance values should be equal.

eq:

wan1 -> 5

wan2 -> 5

thanks, i solved the problem after setting the distance to 5 for both WAN1 and WAN2
