Hi everyone:
I have a legacy environment with a Fortigate 40c / firmware 4.3.11 that is hitting 99% CPU when the NFS traffic crosses it. One of the daemons that is consuming between 30-40% is forticron. I researched about it and I did not find much information.
Anyone knows more about the forticron daemon and if it is possible to disable/optimize it?
Thanks!
G.

Every version of fortios had an issue where I couldn't load the gui and after investigating I found if I did a kill 11 task on the forticron process the gui would load just fine and work normal.. why? Who knows it's supposed to be a task scheduling process.. perhaps it's infected?
