firmware update issue
i have a fortiap 221e with an active license connected to a fortigate 70f with also a active license. ap version is 7.0.6 and the fg at 7.2.10. when i check in system, manage fabric, go to update for the ap, it says it is up to date and the "update from fortiguare" button is disabled. any way to fix this or it can only be done by manually downloading the firmware?
thanks

I think the Security Fabric is disabled in your Fortigate - ref : https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.2.0/new-features/160823/allow-fortiswitch-and-fortiap...
Can you try AP upgrade as in below article :
Upgrading FortiAP firmware from the FortiGate unit
You can manually upgrade the FortiAP firmware using either the GUI or the CLI. Only the CLI method can update all FortiAP units at once.
To upgrade FortiAP unit firmware - GUI:
- Go to WiFi and Switch Controller > Managed FortiAPs.
- Right-click the FortiAP unit in the list and select Upgrade.
or
Click the row of the FortiAP that you want to upgrade, and click Edit. In Firmware, click Upgrade. - You can upgrade using FortiGuard, or select Browse and locate the firmware upgrade file.
- Click Upgrade.
- When the upgrade process completes, select OK.
The FortiAP unit restarts.
