fail-detection
hello,
I am looking for a description of the fail detect parameters:
config sys interface edit <n> set fail-detect enable set fail-detect-option detectserver set fail-alert-method {link-down|link-failed-signal} set fail-alert-interfaces {port...}I can find the syntax in the CLI Guide but no hints how to use this feature. Nothing in the KB. Can anybody enlighten me, please?

Great, thanks for searching. Seems to be unchartered territory...
This one here KB #30626 is even older. Neither one explains the ' advanced' parameters or how it works.
For example, ' fail-alert-interfaces' could be those interfaces which are forced ' link-down' if a failure of the monitored interface is detected. Or something completely different.
