email account on a pplication server

our organization using certain application server attached to database which will send notifications to customers after any events or transaction , so email account is created and installed on application server but the problem that this account send notifications internal to our protected domains through fortimail but can' t send any notifications to outside domains like yahoo or hotmail as before also through fortimail so what can i do to let it send to outside
