does offline update file work for other fortigate models?

in our company we have 2 fortigate 200D (in each bulding separatly) and

i'm Manual updating theme

our company is growing and we wanna use new office.

i'm thinking to use other model of Fortigate exept 200D

my question is, does offline update work on all Fortigates with same files

or each model needs it's own files?

In the Service & Support portal, you're offered the right signature package for each hardware model under contract, and for each firmware level in use. You can't make any mistake here.

Yes it will work as long as the model for the update file are the same. So technically  you could push a AV/IPS update to any FGT200D regardless if it was or was not under contract etc....

But that would not be ethical or in use to AUP.
