direct attched cables (Fortigate 200D > Cisco Nexus 3000)

Hello will any of the following Cisco DAC SKU work with fortinet 200D ?

 

The Fortigate 200D has 2x GE SFP DMZ Interfaces

The Cisco Nexus 3K is all SFP+

 

Does anyone body know?

Yes it should work  ( this is a FML ) but it was tested in a 5.2 FGT also  and to a NEXUS 3548

I have similar equipment as you- I just don't have it attached together the way you're looking to do. In my experience, the Fortinet equipment is less finicky with SFP things than Cisco. I use the 3m passive cables on a bunch of stuff and they work great.

On the Nexus side- when plugging in SFP equipment in, I've had to go into the configuration and hard code the speed to 1G in order for it to bring up a link. It didn't autodetect the speed.
