dedicated interface to fortiswitch
hello can i only have 1 single int dedicated to fortiswitch interface on my firewall?

You can use one or more physical interfaces for FortiLink, if that is what you're asking. You only need to use more than one if you need the extra bandwidth.

Hi,
it depends on the fortigate you are using.
On the 100D/E and above you can use an Link Aggregation to connect to the fortiswitch.

You can use a Hardware Switch or Software Switch in the smaller units if you need multiple ports on the FortiGate to connect to a single FortiLink configuration. If you want to create multiple FortiLink interfaces to manage different FortiSwitch stacks, you can enable this feature in the CLI:
config switch-controller global set allow-multiple-interfaces enable end
