custom html authentication login page - image format

Hello, I´m trying to customize authentication login page, and import images in a apache server, but I don´t get it. I tried <body background=" http://IP_addr/directory/image" > but nothing appears Then, I tried <img src=" http://IP_addr/directory/image" > but a red cross appear. I tried the next extensions: .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .PNG and .TIF, but I always get a red cross. Anyone knows how can I import an image, and in which format? Thanks and regards, rduran

Welcome to the forums. Both seem to be more HTML driven problems. In the first example, you cannot (I believe) make a background image appear behind the body using that format, only a solid color (background-color=#rrggbb). If you know CSS, then you could possibly force it in, but that' s not for this forum. In the second, some servers will not let you place external images into your web page like you are trying to do. Links will work, but the image has to reside on the server. This could be problem number two. These are my guesses. Good luck.

Thanks very much. I don´t know CSS nor HTML, so this is quite complicated for me. I was looking for information, and I found these two ways. I only wanted to know if anybody were tried it, and some advice. I will ask someone who uses HTML and CSS, so if we get it, I will post the solution. Thanks again, and I will try to help someone if I can resolve another issues in the forum. Best regards, rduran

Thank you very much! That´s just what I was looking for! I tried to copy your page in my FG, and I had the same problem, the red cross, so I noticed that when a user is no authenticated yet, he can´t go to Internet to get the image. My problem was that I have the Apache Server in another subnet, outside the FG, so it was impossible to get the image! I created an firewall policy to permit the traffic to Internet, only to the Apache Server, and now it works! It was a silly problem, but now it´s resolved. I tested the background, and it´s working too! Thank you again for your help! rduran
