hi
i have fortigate 40c connected to two wan connections one with a secure internet for the students (wan2 ) and the second with an open internet for the staff (wan1) as shown in the picture
the problem is that i can connect internal1 to wan1 and internals-3,4,5 to wan2
but when i am trying to connect internals-3,4,5 to wan1 the internet is not working
the distance in the wan1 and wan2 is set on 5
thanks

hi,
can you share your routing configuration.
FCSNP 5, JNCIS-FW,JNCIA-SSL ,MCSE, ITIL.
the addresses are fake
Hi, I think that you could use Policy Routes. I mean in that way you can choose the exit interface depending on the source address.
you right but i want to connect one class to wan1 and the other to wan2 on the same time
the 40c - does it allow you to create a separate vdom and virtual switch to break out the ports?
there are quite a few different ways to break up the traffic, if you had separate vlans for the student and staff network you could connect a switch to the fortinet with separate vlans for student/staff then separate policies...
keep digging lots of good ways to solve that problem!
