can' t use Connection tool with ssh under ssl vpn

Hi, I prepared ssl vpn for our client to access our server which server is suse linux. I can make the connection between and work well with tunnel mode. However I can' t make ssh connection with connection tool and the message is " ***** Disconnected. (Login & password not accepted) , please advice what can I do? Thanks. Dennis.
