I have a number of FG60D-POE which do not retain their config when AC power is removed.
I tried replacing the internal battery (CR2032). However, the issue remains.
I've read others having similar batter issues (on other models).
However, replacing the internal CR2032 battery solved their issue.
Q: Is there a 'trick' (or something special which needs to be done) for the FG60D-POE?
Thank you in advance.

Never had any battery issues in 14 years using all kinds of FGTs. Some even 7-8 years in use.
I suspect it's not the battery but a faulty (worn) flash device. In this case you're out of luck as it's soldered (at least on newer models...open it up, and if the flash (card) is socketed, replace it).
