yes and no. If you have alot of APs than yes. It helps with bleed over and interference against other APs in the same area and same or overlapping channels.

I too would like to know the correct usage of this setting. I have a school that is going one to one with the students and recently deployed 36 FAP221c' s that are very near to each other. does this effect throughput, and how good does it work? has anyone used it?
