assigning a different policy package to a device - FortiManager

Hey guys,

This might be a stupid question but I cant find info regarding this.

I have a FortiGate with assigned policy package, and I want to assign it a different policy package.

What I did under the new policy package was to add the FortiGate under installation targets, but when I try to install the new policy on the fortigate, it says that there is nothing to install, the policy package status indicates "never installed", but actually I made many changes so it doesn't make sense at all.

What am I missing?

Did you un-assign it from the installation target in the first policy package? A FortiGate should only be assigned to one policy package at a time.
