adding second tier group of switches via MC-LAG

Hello i have a pair of 400 switches connecting via 2 x 10GB MC-LAG ICL - you can call this my distribution layer

then i have a group of 448D's which at this time are not connected , This is a new deployment. - this can be considered my access layer.

My question is - how do i connect my access layer to my distribution layer in this scenario - i

Does this look correct?

Will this provide me with enough redundancy at the access layer?

Are all this Standalone Fortiswitches, is there any FortiGate managing them?

Without a FortiGate, the topology options are a bit limited you should relay on MC/LAG and STP for redundancy/throughput since there is no option to stack all the access layer switches (thin blue line).

than I guess FGT is in HA, you can go with one of the suggested topologies for FortiLink mode:
