Hi, as we know, a conflict HA virtual Mac address in the different HA cluster use the same group id.
Here, would the same situation occur when deploy the different F5 firewall clusters in the network?
Do you mean if F5 also uses same logic as fortigate? If that's the question we recommend you checking this on F5 forum for more authentic answers.
Or are you asking if F5 virtual MAC address can conflict with Fortigate virtual MAC , if thats the question, then answer is no as the Fortigate virtual MACs will start with "00.09.0f" and F5 will be using different one.

For best practices, it is indeed recommended to use different HA Group IDs to ensure that each cluster has a distinct virtual MAC address.
