Today I updated Windows 11 to the new version (22H2) on 2 PCs. FortiClient VPN worked seamlessly on the previous version (21H2) but after the update it doesn't connect and gives the following message:
Is it a known issue with FortiClient VPN? Is there a solution?
Thank you in advance,
This finally was the fix for me as well! THANK YOU JAMES!
That worked for us. Thank you James!
My way of resolving this:
ipconfig /releaseipconfig /flushdnsipconfig /renewnetsh int ip resetnetsh winsock reset
Install the latest FortiClient version (preferably offline installer from firmware page)
Thanks. I gave it a try but no luck. The IP address is still not passed over to the Fortinet virtual adapter.
Try FortiClient 7.0.2.
Just had same issue, downgrading Realtek driver still didn't work. But this version worked on Windows 11.
it work fine to me too.
thanks so much
Hello, check if KB5026372 was installed as part of the recent Win11 updates.
I searched on every forum on internet and eventually end up fixing this by deleting the windows update cache.
