WiFi Limited connection

Friends,in our environment our WiFi connection sometime showing its LIMITED Connection .When am disconnected and re connected its working fine.After some time it goes again Limited connection .Could you please help on this?

We need more information on this problem, such as:

What is the Fortigate/FortiWifi model and firmware installed?

Are you using a 3rd party wifi AP?

If a FortiAP device is involved - what model is it and is it directly connected to the Fortigate?

Is the wifi connection bridged with the internal network (i.e. on same subnet)

Does problem effect wired connected computers?

Do you have any web/url filtering enabled?

Does the problem happen during certain times of the day?

Is the Fortigate running the DHCP server for the wifi or is there a server involved?[/ul]

What troubleshooting have you performed so far?

If a FortiAP or 3rd party AP is involved -- have you confirmed the physical connection is good? Have you run ping tests to the AP's IP address?

Confirmed there is no other possible rogue dhcp server on the network?

If IP addresses are DHCP assigned-- confirm the DHCP lease pool is not full?

Check the Fortigate event logs?[/ul]
