WiFi Bridge To Local Interface Doesn' t Work

Greetings I have a FortiWiFi 60D which I am about to deploy. First thing I did was update it to 5.0.7. I want to configure a WiFi SSID that is bridged to the local LAN. The document I have says that the magic words are " WiFI-Ethernet Bridge" . I have: - set the internal-switch-mode to interface and rebooted - created my new SSID as a Local Bridge interface - created a new software switch interface with the member ports Internal1 through Internal7, plus my SSID - rebooted again just for giggles However the SSID I have created does not get broadcasted so I cannot join to it. I' m clearly doing something wrong and I can' t see what it is. Can someone give me a pointer to help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

Ah, according to https://forum.fortinet.com/FindPost/107063, the secret is to not make a Local Bridge interface. Make a Tunnel interface, and then use that. This appears to work.

this is straight forward. You should just create V-Switch and attach the wifi+lan to it. As the Wifi, you should just configure it to broadcast, it doesn' t care either its in a bridge or not.
