Whitelist Google Maps and some other domains

Hi!

I am using some Fortigate 5.4 devices in proxy-mode, as I need the "block-override"-feature.

Now, I need to setup a whitelist:

- Google Maps

- xyz.com

The problem for me is:

I can whitelist Google Maps as described here: http://kb.fortinet.com/kb/documentLink.do?externalID=FD37764

--> With App-Control

I can whitelist xyz.com with Webfilter profile

But: How can I combine those two features?

Can you give me a hint?

Regards,

KPS

Regarding on your issue, the problem was hit two different security features (application control and webfilter). I think the only way is you may create another profile for each security features with same name and apply on your policy.

Hi!

I do not understand, how I can combine them.

As it has to be a whitelist: I would need to allow "https.browsing" as app, but which URLs do I have to allow to give Google Maps access?

Thank you and best wishes!

Hi!

Whitelisting Google.Maps does not work. Google.Maps is recognized as Google.Services. I can only use Maps, if Google.Services is one of the "allowed Apps".

Is it the same for you?

Regards
