What ports to be opened for printer?

User wants to block ping but allow ports for printer scanner and printing.

What ports should be open then?

Hi,

I understand that you would like to deny ping and allow the other ports required for printer service to work. Please be informed that different brands or make can use different ports for the services to work. 

To allow the ports, kindly check with the printer vendor and allow those ports in the policy configured for this traffic.

It depends on protocol and brand of the printer/scanner. Please refer to the printer/scanner manufacture guide for more information.
