I want to buy a Fortigate 1800F with License hyperscale but  have a Question

we must buy FC-10-F18HF-950-02-DD and in next step use this license LIC-FGT-HYPSC-1K2K?
or we can use LIC-FGT-HYPSC-1K2K without any license like forticare and protections?
