Hello all,
Time has a question on my mind, "What consumes less battery, SSL VPN or IPSEC?" Because I want a permanent VPN connection for Android devices.
We use here EMS Server and FortiOS 7.0
Very thanks and best Regards :)

SSLvpn for the most part has more overhead than ipsec-ESP. But if you down to counting pennies on what one uses less battery than you have bigger issues.
SSLvpn and with port 443 is probably the most preferred since IPSEC is block at a lot of wifi-spots,hotels,airports etc...
YMMV but I like to over both for roadwarriors imho
