Hi, not sure if other people are having the same problem as us. With version 6.4.5 (at least) when we activate forticlient at Windows logon a dialog box displays asking us again to enter our authentication information. Once done and the MFA validated, a message informs us that the vpn is connected and we return to the login screen. I must then click on the Windows logon icon to authenticate normally without going through the VPN. Once the session is open, we notice that the VPN is actually connected.
This is what we can call everything except a transparent session opening when we want to connect the vpn.

Hello,
May I know if you are using FortiClient connected with FortiClient EMS.
For this feature "VPN connection at windows logon" works on the licensed FortiClient platforms.
Refer this article to understand the features available between licensed and unlicensed FortiClient versions - Technical Tip: FortiClient licensing and support - Fortinet Community
If your FortiClient is connected via EMS, then you may once try with FortiClient version 6.4.6 and check once.
If the same is noticed, then it would require our FortiClient team's intervention for which, you could open a support ticket using EMS Serial Number and call our support line.
Regards,
Klint George
