I am having an issue where all my devices with web filtering are suddenly giving the message " no correct Fortiguard information", but on the Fortigate in the Fortiguard settings it says the connect to the web filtering service is up and licensed.
I was working with static routes when this started, but have reverted all my changes and it still isn't working. If I set my filtering policies to Allow when a rating error occurs, devices load webpages without issue, but this is obviously a huge security issue. Can anyone please help?
Hi,
I hope the default settings are used to connect to FortiGuard servers. You can try changing the port/protocol for connectivity with the servers for rating, please see below
config system fortiguard
set fortiguard-anycast disable
set protocol udp
set port 53
end
Some other options may also be tried if above is not helping, please see https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-FortiGuard-is-not-reachable-via-Anycast-de...
best regards,
Jin
