Web admin session disconnecting suddenly.
Hi all,
After upgrade to 5.2.4 my web admin session is disconnecting suddenly, while I'm working and before to idle timeout.
I already saw this in other versions of 5.2.X.
Regards,
Claudio Rezende

Hi Claudio,
Make sure SSLVPN and Admin port are not overlapping, and also increase the idle timeout from System > Admin > Settings >
Hope this helps

Hello Claudio,
It is worth checking the settings under global settings :
config sys global
show
In the output check if you have anything for - "admin-concurrent" and "admin-login-max".
You say that the session disconnects while working on it, which confirms that the session was not idle. In this case, can you check if any other admin user logs in and disconnects the other admin sessions from the dashboard? (System > Dashboard > System Information > Current Administrators > Details)

Hi all,
I don't have ssl vpn configured on this firewall.
The user that I'm using is exclusive for me.
I noticed that with Firefox the issue happen with less often.
I'm thinking about some certificate issue......
Regards...
Claudio

Hi Claudio,
It can occur if the idle timeout is set to a lower value or if the admin has been idle for a certain time. You can increase the idle time out.
Navigate to System -> Settings ->Administrator settings
Increase the idle timeout value and click Apply
Note : Range 1 to 480 mins
thanks.
