Hi experts,
I have implemented a policy to block Facebook. I have used the Web Filter security profile and block General Interest - Personal > Social Networking. When I tried to open Facebook from a laptop I get the following warning message:
It is like a certificate warning message. FortiGate is in flow-based and is not using deep inspection.
However, when I block Facebook using Application Control security profile (Social.Media) I can't open Facebook but I don't get this warning, which is fine.
Why do I get this warning by blocking with Web Filter and not by blocking with Application Control? Again, I am not using deep inspection.
Many thanks in advance,
Julián

Hi guys,
For those with the same problem as me I found one posible solution:
https://forum.fortinet.com/tm.aspx?m=122453
Configuring FortiOS v5.0 Webfiltering for HTTPS scanning without SSL Deep Scanning
It worked for me!

Julián
