Web Cache

Is it not possible to cache FTP sites and downloads? I have a web cache rule for port 80 and it works but when I create a rule for 21 the traffic is halted.

I almost hesitate to suggest this ... but is it something to do with the fact that FTP uses both port 21 and port 20 ... the latter being for the data channel? ref: http://www.grc.com/port_20.htm

I believe the http is worth it. We are only using web cache for internet sites and downloads but are planning to you wan opt for our remote sites. Currently my month report shows a 20 percent savings.
