WLAN <-> Internal with uPNP

So I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction in trying to address this problem; I' m trying to route uPNP traffic from my PC (internal interface/LAN) to a wirelessly connected PS3 (WLAN/wifi). The problem is that the way a PS3 scans for a uPNP server is by scanning its subnet, and so it doesn' t find my uPNP server on the LAN. A friend suggested using Virtual IPs to route the traffic, but it doesn' t seem to be working. I' m still learning when it comes to networking, so please forgive me if I' ve missed something obvious or misunderstood something. My internal interface has a range of 192.168.1.x, and the wlan is 10.10.80.x, each with their own DHCP servers as I could find no way to relay the DHCP request from internal to WLAN. Any ideas would be very welcome at this point. Thanks for you time!

Hi Yojimbo, welcome to the forums. Take a look at this blog post. It describes combining the WLAN and internal interfaces into a single subnet. Should be exactly what you are looking for. http://firewallguru.blogspot.com/2009/07/combining-firewall-interfaces.html

That was exactly it, thank you so much!! I followed the blogpost' s instructions, set an IP for the new interface via serial and it was golden from there on out. ^_^
