WAN Policy Configuration Help

Hi All,

I have Fortigate 70D. And Have 2 ISP configured with same distance and priority.

My goal is to configure the devices as below.

1. User A,B,C should allways go through WAN1. 2. User D,E,F should allways go through WAN2. 3. When one of any WAN fails user should automatically go through another WAN.

Please help me.

Thanks in advanced.

hi,

to start from the end:

3- this will happen automatically IF you have defined 2 default routes, one for each ISP/WAN port.

For 1- and 2-:

as you only have 2 ECMP WAN ports, odd source IP addresses will use one WAN port and even addresses the other. As routing doesn't know the concept of a "user" you could assign local addresses evenly to load share outbound traffic. Or, assign odd addresses to users A, B, C and even addresses to users D, E, F.
