Hello,
I have a 80F and at the Dashboard-> Status-> System Information widget shows a WAN IP that is an interface of the FW but it is not the main.
How could you explain that?
Could I change it?
Thanks and regards,
Konstantinos

Hi Konstantinos,
The dashboard is just showing your Fortigate's public IP address as it is seen by FortiGuard Servers. This is purely informative and cannot be changed directly if your Fortigate is hidden behind NAT.
More details can be obtained in CLI with command:
diagnose sys waninfo

There might be a way via
config system fortiguard
and setting source ip and playing with interface selection.
However, why do you want to change it @fortiFWuser ??

Hello,
Thank you for the answers
I would like to change it because this is not the primary WAN IP
But if it is not an issue I am ok
Regards,
Konstantinos
I confirm bpozdena's says, this cannot be not an issue, the primary WAN IP is what you use via your SD-WAN rules or routing rules, not what FGT lists on dashboard.
