Hi,
i have a issue with W10 forticlient SSL dns registration.
when connecting to sslvpn by forticlient (5.2.x,5.4.0.780,5.4.0.788) the W10 client is being registered in the corporate dns (w2012r2 dns server) with the ip address of the clients local lan/wifi adapter IP instead of the given vpn ssl dhcp lease IP.
does this ring a bell with somebody / any idee how to solve this (across >300 w10 notebooks)

Ive gt the same problem. Any suggestions ?
Yes, this caused me some headaches until I understood what was going on.
You will need to go to the properties of fortissl WAN adapter, selet Networking tab, go to properties of IPv4 or IPv6, click Advanced button, select DNS tab, and check the 'Register this connection's addresses in DNS' option. The worst part is, as far as I can tell, there is no way to automate this through GPO, PowerShell, scripts or even a registry edit. I spent a long time trying to make it automagic with no luck.
