I want allow a vpn connection from watchguard by SSL. I already create the public address and create the policy but still unable to connect to remote server using firebox ssl.
Any idea what i am missing?
When you create a new outgoing policy with NAT at an FGT, nothing is blocked from inside to outside unless you specified the services in the policy. If you sniff traffic on the outside interface, or better running a flow debug, you can see packets are flowing out. Both sniffing or flow debugging methods can be found anywhere or in the forum easily.
Of course, if it's going through the tunnel you wouldn't be able to see by just sniffing at the outside interface since it's encrypted and encapsulated.
