VPN connection failure

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 11 and since then my VPN has not worked. I uninstalled the previous version and upgraded to the latest, to no avail.

I see it trying the connection on the Fortigate, but that's it.

I don't know what to do beyond this so any help would be appreciated.

Are there any solutions or tipps available since we are also struggling with some Win11 notebooks and VPN connection concerning the same error message: No response from the peer, phase1 retransmit reaches maximum count

So this is what resolved the error for us. When configuring the VPN client, there are advanced options. We had to configure these to match the IPSEC VPN's settings on the Fortigate.
